The Three Goats

The Three Goats

Three sister goats lived in the forest. Each of them decided to build her own house.
The youngest sister decided to build her house out of straw.
The middle sister decided to build hers out of wood.
But the eldest sister chose to build her house from stone.

Everyone began working.
The youngest sister finished her straw house quickly, followed by the middle sister.
But the eldest sister took longer because her house was made of stone.

Once they were all done, each goat sat happily in her house.
Then came the wicked wolf.
He started huffing and puffing at the youngest sister’s house until it collapsed.
She ran to her middle sister’s house.

The wolf followed and began kicking and blowing at the wooden house until it also collapsed.
So both sisters ran to their eldest sister’s stone house.

The eldest sister welcomed them with love.
The wolf tried and tried to destroy the stone house, but he failed.

The three sisters lived happily ever after under one roof, full of love and joy.
