The Greedy Dog
One day, a hungry dog found a bone.
He was very happy and wanted to eat it alone.
He started walking to a quiet place.
He walked and walked, then came to a river.
There was a bridge over the river.
As he walked on the bridge, he looked down.
He saw another dog in the water with a bone!
The greedy dog thought, “That bone is big! I want it!”
He barked at the dog in the water.
But when he opened his mouth, his own bone fell into the river!
Then he saw—it was just his reflection.
The bone was gone.
He felt very sad.
The dog learned:
Being greedy is not good.
