LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a sweet
little girl.
One day, her mother sewed her a red cloak. The little girl
loved it so much that she wore it all the time.
Because of this, everyone started calling her Little Red
Riding Hood.
One day, her mother called her and said,
"My sweet girl, your grandmother is a bit sick. I made
her some soup and cookies.
Get dressed and take these to her."
"Of course, Mommy! I’ve missed her so much," said
the little girl.
Her mother added,
"Just don’t forget — don’t leave the bunny forest path,
and don’t talk to strangers."
"Okay, Mommy," said Little Red Riding Hood.
She put on her red hood, took the basket with the food, and
started walking while singing songs.
As soon as she entered the forest, a grumpy-looking wolf
jumped out from the bushes.
"Where are you going, little girl?"
"I’m going to my grandmother’s house."
"What’s that in your hand?"
"Soup and cookies. I’m taking them to my sick
grandmother who lives at the end of the path."
The wolf first thought about eating the food and the little
girl,
but he knew the woodcutter was nearby, so he made a sneaky
plan.
"Sweet little girl, if you want, I can go ahead and
help your grandmother. You can follow me."
"Okay," said the little girl.
Since Little Red Riding Hood loved nature, she kept picking
flowers and walked slowly.
Meanwhile, the wicked wolf ran to the grandmother’s house,
changed his voice to sound like the little girl and said,
"Grandma, I’m here!"
"Come in, dear, the door is open," replied
Grandma.
The wolf went inside and swallowed the grandmother in one
big gulp.
Then he put on her clothes and lay in her bed.
A little later, Little Red Riding Hood knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" asked the wolf.
"It’s me, Grandma," she replied.
"Come in, dear," said the wolf.
Although the voice sounded a bit strange, she went in.
Seeing the wolf in bed, she said,
"I brought you some food, Grandma… but why are your
eyes so big?"
"To see you better," said the wolf.
"And why are your arms so big?"
"To hug you better."
"Why is your nose so big?"
"To smell you better."
"And why is your mouth so big?"
"TO EAT YOU BETTER!" shouted the wolf and jumped
out of bed.
He swallowed Little Red Riding Hood in one gulp too.
After his belly was full, he fell asleep snoring loudly.
The snoring echoed through the forest.
The woodcutter, who was nearby, heard the noise.
He approached the house and saw the door was open.
When he entered, he saw the wolf sleeping on the floor with
a big belly.
He quickly cut open the wolf’s belly and pulled out Little
Red Riding Hood and her grandmother.
Little Red Riding Hood hugged her grandmother, and they ate
the food together happily.
