The King and the Three Sons

Once upon a time, a just and wise king had three sons. The king wanted to choose the best among his sons and leave the throne to him. For this, an exam has been prepared for them.

The king gave his sons a bag of gold and said, "Take the most valuable things with this gold and direct them to the palace."

The eldest son had the most expensive jewels.

The middle son brought the most magnificent horse.

The younger son distributed the gold to the poor and returned empty-handed.

The king asked him:

“Why didn't you bring anything?”

The younger son replied:

“Father, the most valuable thing is kindness. Helping those in need cannot be bought with gold.”

The king was very impressed by his child's words and left his throne to him.
