Fairy Godmother

Once upon a time. In a distant land, there was a beautiful village surrounded by lush green forests and where birds chirping was always present. Everyone lived in this village. However, in the most remote corner of the village, there lived a small and very quiet child. Her name was Elif. Elif was a very polite and gentle girl, but she had difficulty making friends because she was introverted. She spent time by herself, walking in the forest and talking to animals. While the other children in the village were constantly playing games, joking and spending their time happily, Elif usually sat alone. Those who saw her did not understand why she was so lonely. Because Elif was actually a helpful and very kind-hearted girl.

One day, while walking in the forest, Elif noticed that the birds were quieter than before. There was a restlessness around. The trees were swaying less with the wind, and the flowers seemed to have bowed their heads. Elif noticed this strangeness immediately and started walking deeper into the forest.

At the end of the road, she saw an old woman sitting under a giant tree. The woman's eyes were filled with tears and she looked very sad. Elif approached the woman and asked gently:

"Hello, are you okay? Why do you look so sad?"

The old woman raised her head and looked at Elif sadly. "Ah, my beautiful girl," she said. "I am the fairy godmother. I am here to spread kindness and charity among people. But lately, it seems like the people in the village have forgotten how to help each other and how to be good. That's why my magical powers are starting to weaken. I can't help anyone anymore."

Elif listened to what the fairy said in surprise. "But we are happy in our village. Everyone loves each other," she said. The fairy shook her head. "Looking happy is not the same as being truly happy, my beautiful girl. Kindness makes a difference not only in our own lives, but also in the lives of others. If people forget to help each other and do good, true happiness is lost."

When Elif heard this, she fell into deep thought. Lately, she hadn't seen anyone in the village helping each other. Everyone was minding their own business, thinking only of themselves. Elif realized this and asked the fairy godmother what she could do to help.

"I would like to help, but how?" Elif asked.

The fairy smiled and extended the magic wand in her hand. "A touch with this wand can remind people of the power of goodness. But remember, true goodness does not come from magic, but from the heart. What you need to do is remind people of goodness and teach them to be helpful. If you can do this, true happiness will return to your village."

Elif was very impressed by what the fairy said. She decided to return to her village immediately and show people how important it was to do good. She carefully took the magic wand and thanked the fairy. "I promise you, everyone will learn how important it is to do good," she said.

When Elif returned to her village, she started with small things. First, she helped an old woman, one of her neighbors, carry firewood. The woman was surprised and very happy by Elif's kindness. Then, she told beautiful stories to the children in the village and helped them get along better with each other. She continued to show people the importance of kindness by giving small donations.

One day, it was announced that a big celebration would be held in the village. Everyone would attend this celebration and a big feast would be held in the village square. However, as the celebration day approached, some people in the village started to have difficulty with the preparations. There was not enough food and the decorations were incomplete. At that time, Elif rushed to help everyone who needed help. People were amazed by Elif's helpful attitude and started to help each other by taking her example.

When the celebration day came, everyone helped each other, decorated the village square and prepared the food. The place was full of joy and everyone happily joined the celebration. The power of the good fairy was revived. Because people remembered how important it is to do good.

At the end of the celebration, the good fairy came to Elif and thanked her. "Thanks to you, people learned to help each other again. The power of goodness is much greater than we thought," she said. Elif was very happy with these words.

From that day on, Elif continued to do good in the village and help others. Her good deeds took a place in the hearts of everyone in the village. No one was left alone in the village anymore, everyone helped each other and shared their happiness.

And thus, everyone in the village once again found true happiness. Elif learned the power of goodness a little more each day and continued to do good throughout her life.
